I'm Paul. I spent 18 years in my family's business running textile twisting and braiding machines. The actual machines that make rope, cord and line. Not selling the stuff. Making it. In that time I developed products for the mining industry, home and garden, and the roping trade, before moving into ecommerce.
I grew up with tradie mates, brickies among them, and for years I copped the same complaint off every one of them: stringline is rubbish. It frays, it sags, it snaps mid-course, and the profile wall you were running suddenly isn't running anywhere. The stuff on the shelf is built to a price, not built for the job.
So they asked me to build something better. Fair enough. I know braid.
Hours on the machines. Not in meetings.
I spent a long time prototyping and testing. Different yarns, different braid constructions, different tensions. All chasing the combination brickies actually need: maximum strength with optimal stretch. A stringline is meant to stretch as it pulls up. That's how you get it drum-tight. The trick is line that pulls up tight, holds dead straight, and doesn't let go.
What came out the other end is BruteLine: genuine Nylon 66, braided in Australia, with an 80kg breaking strain. That's roughly double what a standard No.8 line gives you. Cheap line snaps. This doesn't. That's the whole pitch.
It comes wound on a heavy duty reel, not a flimsy spool that cracks the first week in the ute. And I still make every reel myself, on the same machine I created it on. No offshore factory. No middleman. Line off my machine, onto the reel, out to your site.

BruteLine 80 is product number one, not the finish line. There's more coming. Gear designed to make running a line better, easier and more efficient for everyone who works off a string. Same rule for all of it: if it can't take a beating, it doesn't get the name.
